The catering at the Club is handled by the Stewards Jason and Heather Moran. Jason has 20 years experience as a chef. He completed his training in a Michelin starred restaurant in Dublin and went on to the Vale View Hotel in Co Wicklow as head chef at the age of 21. He then spent 14 years at Woodenbridge Golf Club in Co Wicklow as head chef. He moved to Royal Dublin Golf Club before coming to Hale.

Jason and Heather met at Woodenbridge Golf Club and got married in June 2014. Jason enjoys his golf and his cooking, especially bistro-style dishes, steaks in particular. His motto is 'the kitchen door is always open'.

The quality of Hale Golf Club cooking and service is renowned throughout the area. There is an active social programme throughout the year, with special evenings and gourmet dinners as well as the regular Sunday lunches and meals prepared for members on request.

The club is a Registered Licensed Non-Residential Establishment and staff are on hand to ensure that refreshments are available. Societies and casual visitors (with handicaps) are welcome.

In addition, when the clubhouse is not being used for club events, it is available for functions for members. Requests for functions should be made to the Secretary.
