Background
Richard Booth is the Professional at Hale Golf Club and has been since 2009. Richard has over 20 years experience as a PGA Profesional, having previously worked at Royal Lytham St Anne's GC and Royal Birkdale GC. He has won the PGA Trainee of the Year Award and is a regular attendee of coaching seminars given by some of golf's biggest names, such as David Leadbetter and Butch Harmon. Richard is also proud to be one of a small group of PGA Professionals to have achieved the status of Advanced Professional.

Lessons
Richard really enjoys coaching. He likes to keep things simple using clear demonstrations and straight forward practice drills. More importantly, he strives to make the learning process enjoyable by helping the student not only understand what they need to do but also why.
Richard coaches men, ladies and juniors ranging from complete novices to expert players. He works with members and non-members of the club on all aspects of the game, including on-course tuition. Juniors
Currently we run individual lessons, group lessons, adult-junior competitions and supervised Sunday competitions for the juniors.
